The IE Africa Center announces Ayuli Jemide, Lead Partner of DETAIL Commercial Solicitors and others as members of its inaugural cohort of Gurus & Griots, 2021.
The inauguration was held via zoom on the 15th of April 2021 where Mr Jemide who is an IE alum, got to meet some of the leaders of the university’s academic community and his fellow Gurus & Griots. For clarity, the Gurus are practitioners with innovative ideas and influential business theories, while the Griots are academic innovators who have made a name through scholarly research and articles.
As a Guru, Mr Jemide is expected to channel his vast knowledge and expertise to analyse, create and convey fresh African perspectives in the university’s academic content and initiatives.
The IE Africa Center was established in 2018 with the endgame of highlighting African solutions to global challenges. “We understand that the intellectual and physical contributions of Africa and its people are not only central to the modern world as it exists today, but are crucial to contemplate a better future. The vision of the Center is to promote an African-centric view of both modernity and the future by partnering with African innovators and their institutions on the continent and across the diaspora, to build academic content and research designed to reshape the world.”
