Recently, I sat down with The Will Downtown’s editor, Latasha Ngwube and her team at my office in Lekki, Lagos. While I posed for my cover photos, we talked about a wide range of topics ranging from trending topics to my journey in the legal sphere, other businesses I’ve been involved in, my office architecture, my book amongst other things.
I shared bits and pieces of my life in the interview like my trials in my early years doing litigation, my journey trying out different business ventures that weren’t successful and the birth of DETAIL Commercial Solicitors.
I also shared great ideas that I think will improve our legal atmosphere here in Nigeria and I am sure that a lot of people will agree with me. For example, the non-court room lawyers need to be recognized and rewarded like the SAN’s. We should have SSN (Senior Solicitors of Nigeria). I also think we have outgrown the use of wigs and gowns in the courtroom. What else do you think will improve legal practice in Nigeria?
